Question about Jaques Station

I'm currently docked at Jaques Station collecting my CG reward and I'm wondering what will happen if I just stay docked when the station departs for Beagle Point?
Wil I just spawn in the Gliese 1269 system or inside the station on the otherside of the galaxy?

This has been stated a few times now. FDEV have stated that no one will go along with although traditionally it would carry the ships with it.

It's a shame as I was tempted to try it myself, but I'm not going far while a nice big update (or two) is imminent...
