Question about Location(s)

So, the game started me about 79.5 LY from Sol (with no route available in the galaxy map.) Is this something about which I should be concerned? In other words, is there certain locations in the galaxy that will have additional content, or is it about the same everywhere?

I don't mind being "rural", but I don't want to miss good content. So, I'm wondering if I should start making my way one direction or another, or just enjoy my little corner of the universe.

The reason there is no route is that there will more than likely be at least one jump that is outside the range of your current ship.

But dont worry about it, there is still a massive amount to explore wherever it starts you off. And eventually you will end up with a ship big enough to get you to Sol.
