Question about loosing your expensive ship due to game faulty

I'm hoping devs can answer this. If you see this post, please read it through.

I drove my Type 6 from Clement Orbital in YZ Ceti to SOL Daedalus.. Once I arrived in to the station with my expensive cargo, my ship was instantly destroyed.. There was no loitering, I was not wanted, my ship health was perfect, I had shields and I had a landing pad assigned to me.. No one was shooting at me either.. I just exploded and got "your ship has been destroyed" without ANY warnings what so ever.. I had insurance, so I could buy back my ship but I lost all my cargo worth almost a million of CR.. From here on and out, I was playing with high nerves, because I could not afford to die again (luckily I didn't). Then I would have lost my ship forever..

Now I agree with FD that we should NOT fly an aircraft that we cannot afford, but what about bugs? It's a very serious bug and I have reported it.. But I'm wondering, do we get our ships and CR back if it's lost because of game faulty? Because every time I'm entering a station with high value cargo, I'm afraid I'm gonna explode out of nothing again.

Same thing happened to me leaving a station. Had no idea why, was starting up my FSD to go happily on my trading route and got shot at and destroyed with a 1m in cargo+insurance cost and a message "You have been destroyed by blah blah City".

yes, but I didn't get shot either.. I just exploded. All I got was "your ship has been destroyed".. Not by the City either..

Weird, I assume I was shot, I actually think I just exploded also. I heard the countdown start on my FSD timer, looked down for a second to pet my puppy and then looked up and I was destroyed. I assumed I was "shot at" but didn't actually see it.

The strange thing is that I was out of Mass Locked range (obviously since charging my FSD) and I didn't know the station could reach that far.

This game is in DIRE NEED of a combat log and trading log.

Did you take screenshots and submit a ticket? Jabbering about it here won't help you get your stuff back or help the developers fix it if it was a bug.

They have reimbursed players who lost stuff due to bugs before.

Ticket it. Devs will look into it and see if they can find a reason for the fault. They may even restore your credits.

If you just complain here, nobody will restore it, and maybe the devs don't even know this problem exists.

As I said, It has been reported.. But it takes a very long time before they are able to handle my ticket, so I was hoping for a general answer here from a dev or others who have had reimbursed their stuff before..

I had the same thing happened to me, upon arrival at a station. No contacts except the station, full hull, full shields: suddenly BOOM, your dead... I ticketed it.

No.. Full health and my ship was cooled off.. Guys, again, I have already ticketed it.. I was just hoping that devs or someone else would know if we get reimbursed our stuff if it vanishes due to bugs.

I have noticed this thread just now which is about a very similar situation.

Apparently a very annoying bug that must be addressed ASAP. I have recently purchased a cobra and trying to make credits through mining - which is veery boring, tedious and time consuming. I want to upgrade it all its parts to A4 and in order to do that I have to ''work'' as a miner at least 5-6 hrs sessions to make 500k credits because A4 parts cost million+ crs. Now I can not dare to imagine something similar happening to me after hours and hours of mining with 32 tones of platinum in my cargo bay..

Happened to me also, earlier today.

Just got my sol permit and went to check it out. Decided to dock at Li Qing for refuelling. I requested docking got assigned a pad, as soon as I flew in I got pad loitering warnings, I wasn't near any pad, and they kept appearing. "I'm flying 80m/s it'll clear" I tell myself. But less than 10 secs after entering the station, it goes nuts and blasts the crap out of me.

I have heard of people getting reimbursed, I have heard of people not getting reimbursed. They will review your logs and make an independent decision.
