Question about release time.

Doesn't PSN choose when players can access the games? They may only allow access at 00:00 in any region, meaning some PS4 players will be playing before others.

Games go live (and by "go live" I refer to when pre-ordered games unlock) on PSN in the US at midnight Eastern (EST). This is irritating to EST players, but super happy for anyone west of that timezone.

Since the US is behind GMT, the FDEV servers will have been live for 5 hours already by the time it is midnight in the EST.

They have this huge Victorian age lever at Frontier Developments and the Queen herself will be there to pull it, the Big ben rings it's bells and hopefully wheels start to turn as a horde of thousands rush to man their Playstations around the Universe.

There are pictures of David Braben with a big red button to push to make the servers go live on PC launch day :)

bet he has a medium sized gold button with a stick saying "Release the Goldwinders" on it :p, and when he presses it Ride of the Valkyries plays in the back ground
