Question about scan High Energy Wake

Hello Commanders,
Anyone by chance know how to scan High Energy FSD Wake that someone leave in Super Crusise? I have no prob to analyze FSD wake in normal flight. In SC I cant, wake scanner seems do nothing during SC flight and I cant align to High Wake as well in SC. I am missing something or its not possible yet?

You cant, I guess it's a way to stop stalking. You can only lock on to a low energy wake when in SC

Ahh so it intentional and its legaly way to stop pursuer to follow prey if he manages escape to SC.

Makes sense. Thanks for clarification.

Why I asked is because I play as pirate now and got player Cobra that didn't cooperate with my pirate run and escaped ( he had bit better thrusters than me ) after he escaped to SC I followed him to SC by low energy wake and interdicted again to finish my work, managed to take his shields down before he made bit distance from me and he just escaped game so I waited for him in SC flight till he reconnects and then he made hyper jump and I was not able to follow him.

Probably good thing that chain was broken and I cooled down :)

you can though switch trough your navigation tab and see what star is behind the wake. A bit of a to do, but possible.

Clever idea, only problem is to make this work you are aligned roughly on same vector behind him when he left high wake and don't maneuver from that point so you can try find best aligned start in centre.

I will try this method. Thanks for idea.

What, use actual astronomy and navigation techniques? :D

Good thing you can't use FA off any more in SC, otherwise this wouldn't work either. Imagine someone moving one way, FA off to rotate, hits hyperspace. You'd never have a clue.
