Engineers Question About Selene Jean Unlock

I mined thousands of tons of ore prior to the engineers coming out. One of the pre-reqs for getting her to show up is to have mined 500t of ore.

Does the ore I already mined count towards this or do I have to have mined 500t since the engineers was released?

I also know one of the other pre-reqs is getting 'The Blaster to level 3-4' I'm just asking before I dump a bunch of rolls on him.

anything you mined before does count (see right hand panel -> stats).
