Question about Terraformables

Where on the System map does it indicate that a body is terraformable?

I looked at a couple of water worlds that ED Pathfinder lists as terraformable, but I don't see where it's indicated in-game.

Thanks!

Look at the body description panel where it says This body is a candidate for terraforming...

Oh yeah...and look at the 21:9 bug in its full glory. See the body selected, and look where the popup is showing...

Hmm. Ok. The ones I looked at don't say that. Does that message only appear after handing in the data?

ED Pathfinder is useful for some things. And it turns out that the data wasn't so bad, there was just one wrong planet I found in one system. Anyway, it's all working now, and thanks again for the help and info.

I use ED Discovery. It's a memory hog on my old 8Gb ram machine, but works great and accurately reflects ED DSS scans. Has optional voice pack addon so don't even have to look at any displays. A bit of a chatterbox tho.

Now mind you, the DSS scans give you terraformable "candidates". You will get some kind of bonus, but how much can be variable. There is a separate thread running on that in this forum.

Also, EDDiscovery gives you automatically the approximative habitable Zone upon scanning the star. Makes it easier to find the terraformables BEFORE even scanning them :)

Note tho that those habital zone ranges are estimates. I usually also check planets that are +/- 20% outside stated range, because had found some there before.

There is a lower limit on size of HMC planet that can be a terrformable candidate. Don't know what the actual number is, but I've never found any below .08 EM.

Well that depends on what range source you are using. I've seen varied ones and realized some were never updated...
