Question about the Alpha and Commander Date

All,

During the Fleet carrier beta's they took and image on a specific date, I think two weeks prior. Does anyone know if they are doing the same for the Alpha. Will they just roll in existing commander data into the Alpha? I would assume for the Alpha they will keep things separate from the current release.

If this has been discussed I apologize, couldn't find anything on it.

They will definitely need to take a copy of the current data at some time, probably in the near future. AFAIK they have not publicised a date yet. My advice would be to watch FDevs live streams (particularly, but not exclusively the Tuesday ones), as Arthur did say that they would give more info as to how the Alpha will work "Soon" (TM).

Nobody has hinted at this but it could even be that they need to do more than one snapshot throughout the Alpha phase, only they know (or they might not even know yet themselves).
