Question: About the Codex

When the Codex was introduced it was bugged in quite a few regions.
In that you could not enter New Discovery's of certain things, like some Biological objects.

Has this been fixed yet ?
Asking as I wish to wait for the fix before I set of on a long trip.

Well it didn't add my discovery of some space sea-urchins after I scanned them with the comp. scanner last night, so I would say "No, it's not fixed yet".

Other than a bit of extra cash and a modern-day figurine panini collection sticker book of things to see / have found, it doesn't really do anything anyway, or so it seems to me :)

Thanks for the info.
I still prefer to wait till the codex is working before I venture off into the black though.
Once again, thanks :)

The excitement about the codex evaded me. Taking a note of some lifeless things you've looked at didn't strike me as particular interesting or creative gameplay. Each to their own I guess.

Almost completed 2 sectors (fully confirmed) and there's still a few issues. Can't speak for new discoveries, but descriptions need tidying up a bit

White dwarves sometimes confirm one type when you scan a completely different one and geological features ingame descriptions are completely useless.

Was looking for a sulpher ice fumerole last night. Ingame it said they're found on terrestial planets with sulpher geysers yet the one I found was on a water magma planet

All in all a great addition to mix up exploring gameplay but there's still work to be done to polish it
