Question About the multiplayer mode

Hi am thinking to buy the 80£ but first i would like to ask some questions please
Is the game going to be a Co up game where you drope in drope out,mmo with instances like Star Citizen or an open universe like eve?
About the expansions are there any information when the first one will be after the game release and how frequent they will be?

You can play in an open universe (all group) but you'll have the added option to drop in and out of solo or private co-op groups. The game will have instances like SC. No info on expansions yet but most likely they'll be yearly releases.

Hi Lorenzo, welcome to the forums.

I'm not quite sure I understand your questions, but I'll answer as best I can...

The devs definitely want to support co-operative play, but we're not expecting to have a special co-op mode where your lasers just bounce off other players. It's not really clear yet how exactly this will shake out, but it's likely you'll be able to find a combination of mechanisms that will suit your play style.

Because of the way the mechanics work, you're limited to 32 players in an instance.

I'm not sure what you mean by "open universe" - if the above hasn't answered your question, could you elaborate?

The first two expansions will be landing on planets and walking about (not necessarily in that order). The word round the campfire says they plan to have the first one out within a year of the first release, but nothing has been announced officially yet.

no, you won't end up alone but people can filter you out of "their" universe if you are not a nice and friendly space pilot. Read up on the grouping system.

You can play with just people you want to play with (or alone) or play with all players (in instances of 32 players)
