Question about Thrusters

I have been wondering about the efficiency difference Between E -A. Doing a google search I could not find an exact answer, However on the wiki for shield generators it states

• Higher rating increases shield strength. Appears to be a 7.5% increase in shield strength per rating increase.^{[URL="http://elite-dangerous.wikia.com/wiki/Shield_Generator#cite_note-jdvbelle_testing-0"][1][/URL]}
  • D is ~7.5% stronger than E
  • C is ~15% stronger than E
  • B is ~22.5% stronger than E
  • A is ~30% stronger than E

Would it be safe to assume that this is the case with other modules? such as thrusters

The main thing I know is that the higher ranked thrusters have higher thrust for moving the ship, I believe that is both mass moved and agility.

Optimal Mass: 840T
Max Mass: 1260 T5

closer you are to optimal mass the better
