Question about "Tip Off" quest at Svarogich 1 a

I got a "Tip Off" quest from a "Mysterious Stranger" asking for a scan of the data core on Svarogich 3 a Lat; 2.15, Lon; -84.56.

I tried this in my SRV and got my turrets handed to me in a smoldering heap.
It has serious defense turrets so flying my ship in is a no-go. I am wondering if this has been converted to a "space legs / on foot" mission for Odessy owners?
The reason that makes me think it might be is the last paragraph says,
"It's likely someone is already there. They won't be invincible, but you should be prepared for trouble."

Does anyone know if this is now an Srv or on foot mission for Odessy users?
Also, any tips to help me beat this would be appreciated!

Use the Search button (top right) to search for "Tip Off" and you'll see a number of threads/posts about this.

Basically FDev never updated the mission coordinates for Odyssey, as metatheurgist mentioned above, so you will end up at the wrong location.

The Settlement is there (Barnes Landing) Svarogich 3 a Lat; 2.15, Lon; -84.56. I have been trying for 3 days, countless hours, and a ton of mats for reloads. I can't seem to survive this solo. I tried buying a Federal Gunship using Vindicator Jones build for defeating settlements per his video (

). And I couldn't do it. I tried in a Scorpion SRV and I just keep running out of ammo killing all the stupid skimmers. Can anyone tell me how to beat this thing? I'm at my wit's end! Is this able to be done solo or should I just write this "Tip Off" quest off???

I just sneak in with the srv. Go slow. Look for cover. The Goliath if the worst. The damage of most other units is tankable for a while. Shoot turrets and sentinels from behind a corner. Finding where to go to do the scan is the hardest part imo

You do know you can synth ammo don't you? Assuming you have the materials required to synth the ammo that is ?

I'd be interested to know if they are going to develop this into EDO or is it is just going to be left as a defunct stub.
