Hi all,
So there is one thing i do not understand.
A Steam Friend of me was playing in Open Game Mode, other Player told him he should follow him to his Fleet Carrier if he need some ingame Cash cause there he could trade for a high Buy Price.
So he did exaclty that , he told me he bought something at the Carrier and after that sold it again and after that got 5 billion Credits.
Now his Account was banned and the Support tells him he was hacking or Real Money Trading.
To be honest for Hacking he does not have the needed Knowledge , and Real Money Trading why he should do that for a Game he did not play much before?
So its hard to Understand for me, that someone who did not play the game before very often , and now starts again cause he found out that i play it too get banned cause he sold something at a Player Owned Carrier. If Frontier allow Carrier Owners to set Buy and Sell Orders with Option to set a Price how can this be Hacking or Real Money trading?
Yes the 5 Billion is a ton of money, he told me the other Player said 5 Millions so seems it was a Mistake or possible the other Guy was a .......
But for me it has a bad Smell that you can do something on a Player Owned Ship and get banned for it and loosing access not only to the Open Game but loosing Access to the Entire Game and get a Message from Support he could buy the Game again and make a new accoutn using a different Steam Account or Epic Account .
And yes Hacking and Real Life Money trading is a pain, but there should be a real Proof someone did that and not only "oh he sold something at a Carrier and now has 5 billion credits".
Could someone possible from Frontier give me a Explanation what exactly was the Rule he broke? We talking about someone who did not know how to fly his ship few days before this happend.
