Question about upcoming exploration changes

I want to head out to beagle point. Because why not? Are we getting new modules or are they just changing? I'd hate to be halfway there and encounter problems. Sorry if this a dumb question but I haven't been paying attention to the changes in Q4.

No new modules, only new exploration mechanics. You will lose one module, though.... the discovery scanner is going to be built-in now. You'll still need the detailed surface scanner should you want to map planet surfaces.

I will point out the the DSS (Detailed Surface Scanner) is now more important than before -- it fires probes to let you map planets and find POIs on them. If you already have one, you're good to go. If you don't, however, you will want one.
