Question about updating endangered status of animals real-time or near-time

I have a question. As the animals in real life, move on and off the endangered list (I know this sometimes takes years or decades), and change their "critical" endangered status, does Planet Zoo update the new status of these animals in-game as well?

tl;dr how often is the endangered status of animals in-game updated to match real-life conservation successes or failures?

They do update them, just not right away and whenever there's another update ready. The komodo, saiga, oryx, and a few others have been updated since their release/launch

Some are readily changed in the next game update after the IUCN reviews their status, and some others have had to wait a bit later when we users find about it and ask for it
