Question concerning retired car scoring points

Hi,

Perhaps I'm mistaken and I don't fully know the scoring rules for F1.

But I just had a race in Bahrein in my 3rd season with Ferrari.
In the 5th lap, my driver Charles Leclerc was hit by Max Verstappen, went into the wall and Charles had to retire the car.
Although Charles retired, he still did score 1 point at the end of the race, which I found very odd.

It has nothing to do with the fastest lap, because my other driver Carlos Sainz took the fastest lap later near the end of the race.

Can anyone explain if this is somewhere linked to an unknown rule?
Or just a bug in F1 Manager 22?

I'll answer my own post, since I noticed strange points for Sainz as well in the Saudi Arabia GP.

I forgot that this season, 1 point for pole position is awarded too 😄
So that first race where Leclerc retired, Charles got 1 point awarded. He had pole position after the qualifying sessions.

So all good, no bug 👍🏻
