Question: Current assets value

Greetings (and Happy New Year)...

My apologies in advance as there's probably a obvious explanation which I'm just not finding but does anyone know if there's a known issue with their "Current Assets" value being incorrect?
Between Feb. and July 2021 I played the game regularly - a few sessions a week - then left it for some time as I needed to undergo medical treatment.
I've very recently fired the game back up (Christmas '21) and note that - according to the in-game Codex - my "current Assets" value has increased by over 5 Billion CR whilst I was away which makes no sense. There's no explanation for this; the value of my credits in hand, fleet and stored modules isn't anywhere near the total it's claiming and it surely can't be my Odyssey suits and weapons! The pic below shows the increase from my INARA stats:

Again, from mid-July until late December I didn't play the game at all so it seems beyond strange that I'd see an increase in my asset balance.
I'm presuming this is bug in the game and wondering if anyone else has experienced it or is aware? It's driving me nuts! Ta...

Do you have a fleet carrier? I suspect inara have changed their algorithm thingamajig to now include it.

I'm guessing you own a Fleet Carrier?

The bug where the value of your Fleet Carrier wasn't included in your total assets was fixed sometime between July and December.

Ha! I wish I had a fleet carrier! I've started playing again to grind for one!
The answer is "no"; tried the FC during the Beta in 2020 but have never purchased one in the live game.

Nope; the inflated asset value is reporting in-game; i.e. I see it in my stats in Codex. INARA is also reporting my fleet numbers and value correctly.

Interesting thing though: I looked through the LOG files stored on my local HDD (C:\Users\***\Saved Games\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous).
First, the LOG file created 19 July 2021 and the next LOG file created 24 Dec. 2021 (yes: I took a five month break from ED): my asset value jumped by 5,000,081,129 Cr between those two files. My Credit balance (i.e. cash on hand) was virtually unchanged.
Strange indeed. I might log a ticket and ask FD to look into it...

I have the same on my account, I have around 17 billion of assets (14 billon credits, around 3 billion in equipment), but the in game reporting on the stats page (and therefore also on Inara) reports 31 billion. The value exploded around Juli or August If I remember correctly.
