Hmmmm. I passed the rank of count some time ago and Facece still shows permit in red and no lines in map joining systems to it.

I will try and travel to it again tonight but I think more may be required.

As I remember you have to pick up permits from the bulletin board, they will not automatically appear in your permit list.

You get a confirmation mission telling you to go to the system once you get the permit (the mission that doesn't do anything).

For other permits (like Summerland) I was able to do missions for a faction outside the system that also had a presence inside the system. Can't find any such faction for Facece.

Once you are offered the permit mission you already have access whether or not you pick the misdion (I think). There is no mission on offer in the stations in the systems surrounding Facece that I have spotted yet.

Does anyone already have the Facece permit *or am I chasing a ghost perhaps?

I have had it for months. Not much in there.

Me thinks I have possibly been chasing my own tail rather than a ghost - whilst driving home from work, it occurred to me that maybe the rank progression order was different than I had remembered and I may not have passed Count at all. If Facece is rank (as several have now mentioned), I shall have to make sure I have the correct Rank.

I shall check it out tonight (and report back my findings).

Could be a bug. I got to Warrant Officer today and I didn't get the ROSS 128 permit. The permit system might be on the fritz.

I received the permit within minutes of reaching count. Check the bulletin board.

I am count and have been for a couple of days - no permit for Facece yet (via bulletin board or otherwise).

Going to see if I can trigger another ascension mission or the permit tonight.

[Edit - still no joy last night or this morning]

This may be a bug but, what if a Rank for a system is required for the permit but there is also another trigger. Some might by luck hit the trigger straight away whiles others don't?
