Sorry if there is another thread out there about this but I couldbn't find it.
I saw this Steam post recently: http://steamcommunity.com/games/elitedangerous/announcements/detail/2694698722687900954
This quote is making me nervous: "Any Commander with zero merits at this time will be un-pledged. If you wish to remain pledged, all you have to do is earn a single merit by this date."
My question is, what exactly does "earning 1 merit" mean? If you earned, say, 500 merits last week but none this week, are you safe from being un-pledged?
Or is it you have to have merits either in your possession or turned in THIS week.
I am asking because I have earned merits this week, however, I am afraid if I turn them in, that would give me zero merits in my possession, meaning I would be subject to reset. Not sure if the turned in merits count towards "merits earned" to prevent the pledge reset.
I am thinking if you have EVER earned a merit at any point, you would be safe. But seeing as I am trying to gain a module, and if I get reset... i'm going to be extremely upset.
