Question for FD or anyone who purchased Odyssey Alpha through Steam

I wonder if someone could please help me work out whether something's gone wrong, by answering this:


2 days ago I purchased the Odyssey Deluxe Alpha Expansion through Steam, then launched Elite: Dangerous. Should I expect anything at all, related to Odyssey, to have appeared on the Frontier store under "My Downloadable Products" or "My Orders"?


If you have bought it through Steam and have anything listed on your Frontier Store page under these headings, I guess I should raise a support request or something.
Apologies I found a lot of contradictory answers and vague suggestions when searching for this, hence me posting here.

If you bought through steam I'd imagine it only showing there, not on the Frontier store as you didn't buy it in the store.

I pre-ordered from the store itself so cannot answer definitively, but does steam show you the order?

I've bought ED and Horizons on Steam and I do have them listed in "My Orders" in Frontier Store (although with price being £0.00 for some reason), but not in "My Downloadable Products".

But you should keep in mind that you've pre-ordered the thing. It doesn't exist yet. If you have it listed as being bought on Steam, then you're good I think.

Thanks, yes this is what I was seeing for other people, and I was expecting it to appear next to the other things I've bought on Steam.

But you should keep in mind that you've pre-ordered the thing. It doesn't exist yet. If you have it listed as being bought on Steam, then you're good I think.

I am hoping so, although there doesn't seem to be distinction between the deluxe alpha and just the £30 Odyssey purchase on the steam DLC listing.


In light of the available info I checked through my account and noticed my Steam account is unlinked, which I guess has caused the problem of no orders appearing, so, I've tentatively fired off a ticket to Frontier to ask them to check it out, or tell me if I'm over-thinking it.
