1) Selling to a station, run by the controlling faction, improves your rep with that faction and boosts them in the BGS System influence %.
Why doesn't buying have a similar effect? If I do a lot of buying it seems(?) to have a minuscule effect on my local rep but apparently does nothing for the faction BGS %.
I am no economics major but it would seem logical that buying a product would have as good (or better?) effect on a local economy as selling?
2) Superpower Rep: Lately (thru a game change or something) I notice I now can clearly see my super power rep go up and down. I understand the effect on my gameplay of local faction rep but does a superpower rep (Fed, Empire, Alliance) do anything for me directly?
Thanks in advance.
