PvP Question for the PVPers

We just used VIP passenger runs or whatever other easy money grinds were available. The only difference for me is that VO is less boring than the other methods. And agreed with ryan, sir g, et al - you only die when you choose to once you don't suck. The first reply basically solved the thread :)

If it wasn't for VR I'd have a play on the PS4, just to come chasing after you in my massively overspecced Viper III - doesn't hit very hard but can run away really quickly
The Viper III is one of my favorite PvP ships!

(even if I'm not 'your content')
I've found enjoyment in being their "content" when I go into the game with this mindset. Running blockades in ShinDez can be great fun, as is surviving an FDL gank in my humble Dolphin or Sidewinder.

And when I'm not on the mood to be content, there's always Solo, or better yet, I just avoid the hot spots. I only need to go to ShinDez and the Engineers when I'm experimenting with new ship configurations, which isn't that often. The sector of the Bubble I normally operate in sees hardly any player traffic (based on station reports), let alone PS4 traffic, let alone griefers.

Easily one of the most attractive parts of this game is the ability to absolutely fly off and be so very far away from nearly everyone else.
I'll be sticking with the Viper III for the next several months - it is going to be a long time before the ship is the limiting factor for me.

So, I'm a poor pvper. I never really have more than 300 million in the bank because I'm constantly buying and building ships (I have 10 billion in assets)and I can't be bothered to grind for money, but like Ryan said, I never eat a rebuy unless I choose to.
This is me too. As soon as I get some money I try some new ship. Hell, my Corvette still needs reactive bulks. Refuse to grind, find mining boring. Meh...

Not just for the money, either, because sometimes gold rushes are about exotic, hard to acquire g5 parts and materials so you can keep up with the engineering grind.
God, yes, a credit rush won't get my interest any more 'cause can get credits pretty much anywhere if I just do any profession in the game (some methods faster than others, sure) but if someone gave me a tip-off to a place that was spawning improvised components I'd be streaking across the galaxy like a "my parents aren't home" meme.
I have enough credits sitting around to purchase and fully fit any ship I could possibly ever want to buy, but I don't have the materials to fully engineer the ones I already have, never mind fitting out a new one.
