[SOLVED] How do I access / upgrade my kickstarter pledge on elite.frontier.co.uk?

Hello pilots,

I'm kinda stuck. How:
- do I actually access / link the kickstarter pledge I made?
- can the kickstarter pledge be registered here on elite.frontier.co.uk?
- can I upgrade my pledge?
- do I reserve the pilot name?

I pledged for Elite through the original Kickstarter campaign. I went for the basic game package (25£ one).

These days I wanted to upgrade the pledge since time seems to run out: "Hurry, Early Backer Registration will close on Friday 6th December 2013!"


Thanks in advance guys and sorry if these questions have been asked before. I haven't found any direct answers.

if you use the same email address to register as the one you used on kickstarter it should work i think. you can use the contact section when logged in if it doesnt go as planned.

Thanks a lot everyone. Managed to sign in with my kickstarter e-mail even though I changed it in the meantime.

Reserving the name also worked. Now I just need to get rid of the other account so I can switch the e-mail adress (using unique e-mail aliases for each service).

Two more questions (I can create a new thread if required):
1) Can I decide a little longer on the pledge upgrade path or is friday the deadline? I can't really decide on the route (pirate, bounty hunter etc).

2) Also if I get my friends into playing and we're spawned randomly across the universe: will we be able to find each other?

I think the deadline is Dec 6th for that, you might want to PM Ashley Barley ASAP to be sure. When you do, post in here so everyone else can read it too.

As for point 2, we're not sure how this will work quite yet.

I can't see why not, even if it might take some out of game coordination.
