[Question] Insta Cash while exploring in new update?

Hi Everyone,

With the rolling out of the new update and the new exploration system I was wondering if you get payed cash and exp instantly each time you discover a new planet now. Before the new update you had to scan seperate planets and return to a system to sell your exploration data.

I was thinking about this while watching a video of ObsidianAnt in where he stated that your scanned planets are now automatically added into the codex each time you scan them, but does this also gives me the exploration xp and the cash that I was getting previously while selling my data at a station before the update?

As before, you get diddley squat until your data is sold at a Station.

Nope, handing in data still works the same as it always did. The Codex is a separate system.

How did you get to that conclusion ? The mechanics of exploration have always been "handing data in for cash"

If you mean "Exploration sucks " then why do it when you can earn immediate cash doing other things like void opals ?
