So I've seen a lot of posts and such about GalNet and the news it brings; to me, GalNet feels... disconnected. Like its there, but it doesn't involve US at the moment. This idea is just starting in my brain, but the idea of a player organinzed, run, written, and published news source could do more to connect the community, and let us put our own creative minds to work at things, to involve US more.
Here's what I'm thinking. Something published monthly, more frequently if there's interest, content, etc. Different features that we, the community, want to see, and read about. Editorial sections, political sections, a "Commander Spotlight", if you will, to highlight a commander (who is willing), interviews...whatever there was interest in.
If the Devs got interested, perhaps focused NPC interviews (IE, we could do an interview with the CEO's of some of the corporations... I mean, there's TONS of stuff going on there).
I know its not for everyone, and that's cool, but if there is interest, and people willing to work on such a thing, I'd love to organize and get something like this going!
