Q: Because hyperdictions cause you to effectively need to perform another hyperspace jump to your destination, can they cause you to run out of fuel? [assuming no fuel scoop or refueling points in range]
Why I'm asking: I almost never travel without a fuel scoop but I have been doing so while running passenger rescue mission from Thargoid alert systems to Rescue Megaships. It seems to me that the game won't cause you to run out of fuel to your destination, assuming you had enough fuel to begin with. Additionally, it seems like there will be a maximum of 1 hyperdiction on any plotted route. I have been very careful to ensure that I allow a little extra fuel when travelling in thargoid space with no fuel scoop. After many many runs, I have never been in danger of actually running out of fuel. So I'm curious if anyone has run out of fuel due to a hyperdiction, and if my observations match what others see regarding this. Any observations are appreciated. thanks.
