All I know that you can notstack the corrosive effect on the same weapons type,
But is it possible to stack on a mix of weapons? i.e. the MC and Frags?
Each individual weapon module can only have one experimental effect, but you can certainly put the same experimental effect on multiple modules. The thing is, certain effects such as corrosive have no additive affect meaning that the extra damage from corrosive does not increase with the number of weapons with the experimental. You only need to have one weapon with it, and gain no additional benefit from having more.
So, is there any way of knowing using stats in the game which experimental effects are stackable and which are not? Each individual weapon module can only have one experimental effect, but you can certainly put the same experimental effect on multiple modules. In lieu of providing a needless wall of text:
A) Any experimental that applies to the hardpoint itself obviously doesn't stack (Plasma Slug, Autoloader - how would these ever stack when you can only apply one experimental?)
B) Any experimental that applies a specific effect to a ship you can assume doesn't stack (Corrosive, Drag Munitions, Scramble Spectrum, Concordance Sequence etc non-stacking has been reported ad infinitum).
C) Any experimental that applies a specific metric to a ship you can assume stacks (Feedback Cascade, Thermal Shock & Regeneration Sequence). Fair's fair, the former was patched to a metric.
The above rules answer all of your questions, I believe.
