Question on Upgrading Pledge

Hi - had a look around forums but cannot answer my question.

I am a First Round Beta pledger (£100)

A number of friends/forums have said they have emails advising they could upgrade to the Alpha phase at a discounted price. £50 instead of £100.

Can someone confirm or advise this is incorrect? If I try to upgrade in store it adds another £100 to pay. I think this is correct but wanted to check as I have heard from different sources they have upgraded for £50 (people who originally pledged £100 not £150 also).

The thread has all the info so far.

Alpha is £200 minus your original pledge. So if you've spent £100 the Alpha will cost you another £100, this will be applied at the checkout. Your friends probably pledged at the Founders level of £150.
