Question re EDSM system taffic reports...

So I am at "The Gift" for a bit of shopping and I'm looking at the EDSM page for the system: https://www.edsm.net/en/system/id/753011/name/Blae+Hypue+VN-S+d4-21

...and no ships have passed through in the last 24 hrs... hey hey I AM THERE!!! Over here, me me!!! And the ship count of 31 hasn't budged either.

I'm logged into EDSM and my map/route defo shows me as being there.

It'd be cool if this were an accurate feature, but is it?

Or don't forget that the average population of the Universe is zero. So on average no one has been there and anyone you do see is just a figment of your fevered imagination.

Something is wrong there. I update my position with EDDiscovery and takes only seconds to appear in EDSM.

Checked with Anthor: There's some caching going on here, so it should resolve soon(tm).

EDIT: Caching should not be an issue in this particular case after all. Can you provide a link to your flight log?

The traffic report usually works alright for me, however, the Commanders Map for commander locations is typically wrong for me. Almost like it only updates every few hours or so. And the Heat Map on my profile page is usually days behind in updating, and sometimes it appears to combine several days into one day. It also took over a week for it to update my ship. I used EDD and Captains Log, and both display the correct and real time journal info, and both upload to EDSM correctly...as my Flight Logs have always been spot on up to date current in real time.

OK - I think "me bad". I had assumed that because EDSM-3D Map updated my position automatically that this would upload to EDSM data base. But no! Once I uploaded my netlogs my presence has been noted in the system!
