Question regarding Anarchy systems.

morning all,

Today i have be mostly pirating around an anarchy system. This isn't my first time, and have noticed something strange. I have been jumping from USS to USS. Not once have i encountered a wanted status. Also, when Kill warrent scanning, I find plenty, but don't seem to pick up bounty after kill(or a bounty on me). On rare occasions i'm getting a bounty award for an unscanned ship kill showing clean. This has only happened today, and when i go to usual screen to see my bounties, there is nothing.

Am i going mad, or is this normal?

In anarchy systems everyone is clean. You only get the visual pop up for a collected bounty in the top right if you get rid of someone wanted in that particular system. You should still get bounties if you KWS them, you just have to turn them in to their respected territories.

Think I've found answer to my question.

I have cargo and Warrent Kill scanner mapped to same fire group and primary. Apparently it causes a problem.

If anyone else can shed any more light on this subject feel free to type away.

You won't see a wanted status in an anarchy system because there is no lawful system-wide authority present to issue them. But if you have a kill-warrant scanner installed you can scan the ships for bounty status issued by other authorities, and after killing the ships you must travel to those authorities' stations in other systems to collect the reward.

They don't appear anywhere. Usually I can see that it's a federation etc bounty. But nothing appears.

I'm going back in now, with cargo and WK in different fire groups.

Could be it. I put the KWS on secondary and hold it down for the scan to complete while firing away with the primary

I have put KWS on second firegroup, and cargo on third. Everything is now working as expected..

Yippee. for once its a bug and not me
