Question regarding Commander Deluxe Edition and separate accounts

Good day, everyone. I gots a quick question.

I already own E and Horizons. However, with the Steam sale going on right now, I was considering picking up the Commander Deluxe Edition. Mainly because I'd like an alt account to goof around with.
However, what I'd like to know is whether or not it's possible to have the included ship skins put on my main account instead of the purchasing account. Do you guys think it's possible? How are the ship skins delivered, via redeemable code?

It's not a dealbreaker for me, but I'd prefer not to buy something I don't care enough to use since it won't be my main.

I am thinking not, as the skins when bought appear in your inventory in the shipyard.

Each account you have is completely stand-alone. Anything you buy for one applies only to that account.

I've had a couple of accounts since the last summer sale and there is no way of transferring stuff between them (at least by yourself)

Damn. That's what I thought. I might try reaching out to Frontier to see if there's something that can be done about it, but if not so be it I guess.
