CQC Question regarding CQC

Can LAN CQC matches be set up?

I'm staff at an anime/gaming convention and we're going through planning for next year and elite dangerous CQC got suggested for a game we could add to our E-gaming area and was wondering if anyone knows if CQC can be done over an LAN connection or not?

You'd need the LAN to have an internet connection, and then you'd just be taking part in the same match selection as everyone else.

You could use the squad feature to ensure that groups of 4 were entered into the same match, but not to guarantee those groups of 4 would be matched together into a full match of 8.

(It's possible that Frontier have a custom LAN client for internal testing of CQC, but you'd have to ask them directly about that)

CQC doesn't have LAN as the rewards have to synchronize with the data servers for your CQC rank etc.

If there was custom games, this would be a breeze, but sadly there isn't at this stage and the players counts for CQC don't warrant the time investment. (i.e. I haven't been able to get a game in over a yar)
