Question regarding missions in different systems but with same mission item !!!

Here is the question.

I took two missions, one in System A, other System B, both missions asked me to bring 2 artifacts. Ok, I went to mission A, did a USS and see 8 artifacts floating around. Question: Can I take the 4 artifacts from system A and turn them in, or do I need to only take 2 of A and then go to system B and take there the other 2 for it to count as a valid mission accomplished?

You can take the 4 artifacts and hand 2 in at each site. If you take all 8 the other 4 can be sold on the black market if you can figure out where one of those is. Whilst you're carrying them make sure you don't get scanned as you have "stolen goods" and will be fined for that.

Indeed.

You can actually gather up some of the goods for these missions and turn up at a station, find an appropriate mission, and hand the goods over straight away. It doesn't track where or when you got the goods. Sometimes I wander round with goods like this for a while looking for appropriate missions to hand them in to. Just have to hide from the authorities all the time

what id done is hand say half of them in at the one station, but i havent been getting the same mission at the same station with the same faction, until i jettison the items, but if i can change factions, the dukes of mikunn experiement might have some use for taking advantage of this little loop hole ( rebel transmissions and military plans)
