[Question] Scanner speed?

Hi Commanders,

Has anyone done any testing on scanner speed?

I know the standard Scanners range around 3-4km and A class 6km

But what about speed? - Do higher class scanners scan faster?

I think the shops tells you the scan speed of each. But I think they're all 10 seconds anyway, just the range and the power requirements change.

I can't find a speed anywhere...

Example Class

C5 Range 6KM - 20 tonnes - Power draw 0.410 - 198,611 Credits
B5 Range 6KM - 32 tonnes - Power draw 0.680 - 496,527 Credits

Sorry but from that detail I'm not rushing to 'upgrade' - Seeing as on paper the Class C is much better! - Also... A Sensor weighs 32 Tonnes! Woot!
