[Question] Scanning planet POI with

Will the Scan automatically pick up planet bases and will the scan display them in the left corner of the frequency band?

Not exactly. The FSS scan will, once you find a given planet, show any interesting signals, and classify them (geological, biological, etc), but not put them on the nav panel.

You must then fly to the planet in question and map it with your DSS: this will populate the nav panel with surface locations.

ok thanks, I also noticed that the discovery scanner no longer gives you all the planets now so you kinda have to use the fss way to uncover all the planets. It's quicker for you to see the contents of a world but the downside is that you have to scan them all manually.
