Question To Alpha backers about performance

Yesterday the new Nvidia drivers got released and some DX11 games got a decent gain in performance, i would like to know if any Alpha backer tried them out and found any gain in fps thanks.

I've just checked with the latest version that appears to be out (335.23 10th March 2014) from when I first made a note I'd made about a month ago, and the numbers haven't changed. The problem is there has been alpha updates since then, so it's a moving playing field at the moment...

Optimised drivers that affect a particular games for the better tend to be made after the game's release, which I assume is the result of NVidia and the developer work together to achieve this, and therefore won't have happened yet?

I had a quick look yesterday, and may have seen a bit of a boost in the space station - from 30 to 45 FPS - but with the variations in stability, frame rates etc that could be in the noise

For those saying the latest is 335.23, if you are using Nvidia Experience to keep your drivers up to date, you need to click on the 'include beta drivers' under the check for updates button on the Drivers tab.

I did download them yesterday (I'm running a GTX 760) and the game seemed to be smoother and crash less than before.

If you're running beta drivers...and ED as an Alpha/Beta...and it crashes...how to do know if it was an ED bug or a beta driver issue?

I didn't want to mention those beta drivers (337.50 7th April 2014)- we have a moving target in terms of ED alpha, let alone adding to the mix potential display problems from beta drivers on any other games! :)

The beta drivers 337.50 are more stable then any other Drivers they ever made, they are designed to increase performance on all DX11 games that are CPU bound witch most of the games are.
That is why i asked if any one seen improvements on ED.

So it did effect ED? good to hear.

I guess that will be for the devs to discover from the uploaded crash reports, as you could also say, how will they know what to change to improve performance for the new drivers if nobody used them.

Gave these a try, no 'wonder' change with my GTX 560 Ti

According to the in game FPS counter I'm getting as low as 20fps during outfitting, around 30 fps in the station and a reasonably ok 50 fps away from the station or fighting around the Impeccable. Looks perfectly smooth to me, and I have all the settings on full. This is unchanged from before I installed the driver.

These drivers shine the most when there is a bottleneck btw the cpu and the gpu, so i guess not every one will notice the difference.
I got a i7 950 and a gtx 770 and on ESO i gained like 20 fps.

My god with an i7 950 and a gtx 770 on eso id expect to get near 60 fps anyway i do with i5 and a gtx660... well over 45 fps
