Question to the really experienced players: Suicidewinder

Here' s my question.

I am in Colonia, with my (mostly) explorer-grade 5-modded Anaconda.

I want back, and don't want to stare myself through 500 times the same sequence to do it.

Is there a way or sequence of events with which I might return to the bubble via suicidewinder, buy a new Anaconda, but keep my modded equipment?

Such as, put the modded stuff I want to keep into storage, buy a sidewinder at Colonia, sell the Anaconda, kill myself, take the "original ship" option back in the bubble (would I get that?), rebuy an Anaconda in the bubble and let my equipment be module-delivered there?

Is this possible or is there a showstopper somewhere in my thinking, and how much is delivering stuff like Power Plant and FSD back from Colonia going to cost me?

Slightly off topic but have you considered the neutron highway? Far fewer jumps and the record is less than four hours to accomplish?

As for your destruction suggestion, that should return you to your last port, not back to the bubble unless you have not docked anywhere in Colonia yet, but I could be wrong about that.

That's right. You will usually respawn in the last place you were in.

There's an option to get a completely free sidewinder in the port you started the game in (LTT3447?) but I've never used it so I don't know if you keep your assets when you do that.

You have to take the free Sidey, for the quick ride back as said above. Buy the sidey at Jaque's and then pick the freebie at the rebuy screen after your harikari

If you buy a cheapo ship out in Colonia, like a sidewinder. Then self destruct, and pick the LHS 3447 sidewinder.

Your Anaconda will still be in Colonia, but you can just pay to get is shipped home.

Costs a small fortune though!

Shipping anything between Colonia and the bubble costs 1.31x its value. None of an exploration Conda's modules should have too frightening of a transfer price tag.

If you have money for new Anaconda and want to keep upmarket modules from the existing one:

-strip down your Conda, store the good modules
-take a Suicidewinder and spawn in the bubble (in a Sidewinder, mind you)
-go buy Anaconda and have your modules transfered

Your old stripped-down stays at Colonia (or you can sell her before step 2)
