Questions about exploring in wing.

Hello all. A friend and I want to do a short exploration trip but we are unsure how the exploration mechanics work when in a wing. I've been reading some posts about it but all of them are from a year or more ago and I'm not sure if that was updated.

Our idea is to map a whole small "cube" inside a sector.

Can we scan one system each and share the system info?
What happens with the exploration data? Is it shared between the two or each one gets what he scanned individually?
Who gets the "Discovered by" tag?

Uhm, I thinks that's all.

I think you both have to be in the same system. You should share scans. Tag "Discovered by" will be given to both of you.

You need to be in the same system and relatively close to one another. 2k Ls if I remember correctly from the day I tried it with Spike K.

You do need to be in the same system, but I don't think there is a 2 k limit. Depending on your connections, it sometimes takes some seconds (minutes?) more for the scans to be available to all members of the wing. Good hunting Commanders ...
