Questions: Founders world access. Do non Alphas get access? Possible bug.

OK I was talking to a friend (who shall remain nameless reason will become clear) and he told me he has Founders World access. Now he's a Merc Pack - upgraded to Beta Access account holder. I'm a beta backer who auto-qualified to get the Merc Pack.

I thought only Alpha Backers got Founders World access? Unless there is something I'm missing here. My friend says he's always had it.

Now if people have got acess to the system fair enough. Its one system out of billions. No point taking it away this late stage.

It got me thinking, if he has access to an apparent Alpha only perk, have i recieved my full Mercenary Pack? I got the free skin and decal. The Freagle Eagle. I havent seen any other 'digital goodies yet' (I know the free Beta ship choice is coming.)

Have i missed something here?

At least some premium beta backers ended up with both SOL and founder's world permits. Mine was lost when I wiped my save at the beginning of Gamma due to the Eagle placement bug but if your friend hasn't wiped then it would still be there.

Alpha backers get early access to the FW but once you reach elite status in one of your 3 rankings you get a permit as far as I know.
