Questions on SCBs

Hi all. Some questions on SCBs for the very knowledgeable.

Does the recycling cell, for example, overall lead to more shield charge gained? That is, the -% shield reinforcement, is that the per second rate, but since it lasts longer you still get more overall?

Which leads to more charge gained overall: Boss cells, or recycling cell?

If I understand the blueprints correctly... Rapid charge gives you close to the same amount of charge but in a shorter time (by increasing the shield gained per second rate but shortening the active duration?)

And Specialized just gives more shield charge?

Specialized are extremely specialized. At G3 engineered they give a slight increase in Shield reinforcement - so shields get 8% stronger in the same time period.

They also boot up faster ( this is the specialized bit ) from a turned off state.
So perhaps if you have a Vulture with power issues. You can have your power priorities set up so when you deploy hardpoints you lose power to one of two SCB's. When the 1st is empty turn it off and boot / turn on the 2nd - it will then come online and be ready to use 24% faster.

Any thoughts on Boss Cells vs Recycling Cell?

edit: nevermind... figured out how to get one of the e:d websites to show me and it seems boss cells are better for overall charge gained.

I used specialised primarily to lose a HSL and gain a booster.

As above quite a bit cooler.

BTW 3.0 engineered SCB's don't come close to a half decent legacy SCB.
