at the moment I am leaning toward holding off on exploring until i can get a ship that can jump a bit more, the routes I have make it hard to get 20 light years away from source.

doing missions seems like easy way to build up some starter cash

Would you mind checking if data for Gliese 4014 is available for you? Either for free or by buying it.
You should probably be docked to test it out.

Just wanna confirm how data is distributed (if it is).
Just explored that system today (and sold the data). It contains 2 blue gas giants, 1 white gas giant, and 1 grayish metal rich planet.

Can anyone help me with this? Wont take long to check

I do not have a map for this system. I presume you can buy it, but you have to be close to a system to do so. 225LY away fro me.
