Is there anyway to tell in outfitting how much of an effect a modules weight will have on your ship?

Here's a question on mission development:

Is there a plan to implement a way to tell where you picked up your mission from? Currently I either haven't noticed if the mission tells you where you picked it up or it doesn't exist.

Is there a plan to implement a way to tell where you picked up your mission from? Currently I either haven't noticed if the mission tells you where you picked it up or it doesn't exist.

Not in the outfitting window no. After you fit your ship look at the galaxy map and the colored lines from one system to another, tell you if you can make the trip or not.

The blue line is for no cargo, the grey lines are for a certain cargo amount using the slider option on the same page.

There is no way of seeing further details about equipment at the moment no. This is because they are still balancing the values so everything is still up in the air. You can however see how much the modules weigh.

Sorry, I don't quite get the question.

Can't help you with the mission one since I haven't had time to test these things out to much so far. What we have in terms of missions so far is still very barebones at the moment and currently something they are focusing devtime on according to the latest Newsletter that was just released. So expect improvements "soon"...

Sorry, I don't quite get the question.

The question is more like.. Can I view galaxy map, my modules, contacts etc whilst docked? the thinks you can see whilst un-docked.

Also I'm not a physics whizz so I wouldn't really know the formula used to calculate how the weight of a module would affect the LYs the ship can travel xD.

I am sure it will be in final release. But for now, the galaxy map has great info.
