so i am trying to do this mining diamonds thing that i see on youtube for making cash. so off this website http://edtools.ddns.net/miner this line is where i need to go to start mining. so im here in the system now but am unsure to know where to exactly go.

in my navigation list there are symbols that look like diamonds with lil sparkles..are these the low temp diamonds i should go after?
if thats true then do i pick a random planet that has that symbol and also a planet with rings on it?
if thats true does it matter which i choose or do i have to scan the rings to find the best one to mine from?

as for the mining itself i purchased this collectors limpit but when i see it on my screen with my mining lasers it says out of ammo..where do i get the ammo to use these limpits? please dont say a station, id like to know what menu in the station that gets me this ammo.

this is the guide i am going off of and i have the adder ship bought and equipped with everything mention in his guide. its just finding the correct planet with rings to go after and figuring out this out of ammo thing when wanting to use the limpits.

Ok, I'm not going to watch a 45 minute video just to see what you have in your Adder :). I will simply assume that you have equipped it similar to this.

Before you take off to the mining system, you'll need to stock up on limpets. You can get those in any station that offers Repair/Rearm services, in the Advanced Maintenance menu (bottom right on the station services screen). Once there, you need to go to rearm, then you can fill up your cargo hold with limpets (yes, they take up cargo space, so you can only fit 12 in that Adder).
Next, edtools says planet 3, B ring, with a triple LTD hotspot. Since the system is uninhabited, first thing you need to do after entering the system is fire up your FSS and scan it so you can populate your system map. Since the system data is known and sold, the map will be kind of populated, but without planet names or data, so you can also count to 3 and select that planet - it should have rings ;).
Then fly out to that planet. Select your DSS and get into range, then aim at the rings and shoot a probe at them - you'll need one probe per ring, the planet has two rings: a narrow inner metal rich ring, and a wider outer icy ring. The DSS will ight up the hotspots for you, you're looking for a place where three LTD hotspots overlap. If you've found it, drop into the ring at that location, then wait for the inevitable couple of pirates show up, scan you, try to insult you and disappear again. Once they're gone, you're reasonably safe (unless you had something else besides limpets in your cargo - in that case, you're now dead).
Now start shooting your prospector limpets at asteroids, wait until they hit, then check what they found. If you like it, shoot up that rock and deploy your collectors to scoop up the fragments. When your cargo and refinery are filled up, select a sales port, fly there and sell your haul (provided you manage to arrive alive).
