Queston about war duration and influence - think i may have opened a can of worms

I started a war in a system where the facton i support was 3rd in influence standing.
Since the war started the faction we are at war with has dropped in influence and is about 10% below us.
Other factions in the system have moved up so that now my faction and two others stand at about the same 14% withing a few tenths of a percent.

Does this mean that after winning the war with the original opponent, we will have to fight the other two?

Is there anything i can do to avoid that?

You get a cool down period after the current war so you cannot have a new war right away. Hopefully you can move them or you in this cool down time. 3 days I believe

Civil Wars / Wars have 24h cooldown, Elections 48h. So if he is unlucky he can trigger a new pending conflict right after.

I'd use the 1-kill-turn-in method in the CZs to take away as much % as possible from your opposing MF and thus gain advantage over the remaining MF in the System.

Remember: it doesn't count how much credits you bring in but how often you do it that has the biggest impact on changing the Influence.

Why do you want to avoid the war?

That and trigger finger fatigue :) Thanks for the information on the cool down period and the transactions tip.

In this case just won the first war, make missions against your faction, until your influence falls by at least 2-3% below the threshold of 14%. In this way no further wars are activated.
