Queues and pathway 'bump back'

Does anyone get this? When I place or remove a queue or pathway the camera view will bump back a bit. So, say, if i'm removing a longer sequence of queue i'll bump back and back and back each time I remove a piece of it. Now, it doesn't happen ALL the time for me, but quite often that it makes things a little annoying. I will also, much much less often, have the camera view, which I find a little difficult to control at the best of times (this is probably me still getting used to it) pop up into the sky far away from where I was working. No idea why. Maybe I'm forcing the camera into a spot where there is too much clipping happening? Not too sure.

Curious if any one else is experiencing these two things.

I have had this happen when placing multiple walls and clicking on the same spot on the screen....the camera will bump back and my next wall will go somewhere unintended. At first I thought I was slightly moving my mouse but I confirmed I wasn't.

Are you changing to free camera mode when in path edit mode? I personally do not like the camera following the path I am editing and use the free-camera mode. The camera can pop far away mainly when you run into the ground with it because its focus point gets screwed up. You can toggle true free mode for the camera with "T", but its a slower/harder to move around for building purposes, but great for moving the camera around to get screen shots or work in very tight spaces.

I ran into similar problems several times.
I believe this bug occurs more often on maps which are not all plain flat.
Most times i run into this on landscapes with hills / cliffs or canyons, it seems like the camera is repositioned based on the deepest / highest place you see in your view and not onto the actual terrain you build on.

yes this is not a bug! when placing paths there is an option turned on which causes your camera to focus on the path. you can select free look on the right bottom where you can select paths, this should fix it!
