Engineers Quick G1 Power Plant question

So I'm on my way to Felicity to get my Power Plant a G1 Overcharge. I have been informed that if I do this, I can put it on my Vulture, and it will give me enough power to A grade all my Core Internals and have a 5A Shield Generator. (I hope that's true).

So it only takes 1x Sulpher to do this. What am I looking for when I ask her to do this when it comes to the screen with all the little dials changing. I want to make sure I do this right.

To get all the dials to the right side/blue the best you can, also hope you get a good bonus/secondary roll. my g1 pp was almost as good as my g5 pp mod

Whoa really??! So what is the bonus roll? How does that occur? Is that the experimental thing?

The bonus/secondary is some additional effects on top of the primary mod improvements, e.g. a good L1/G1 overcharged powerplant primary mod will add 10-11% to the power output but you can also get some additional performance from the secondary effect like a little more power on top of the 10-11% and/or less mass, better integrity, lower heat generation etc.

I've several L1 OC plants that deliver additional power but no additional heat but you'll need loads of sulphur for multiple rolls.
