Quick question about multi ship ownership

Hello all,

Long time lurker, first time poster.
Just wondering if someone could help me out. I finally got into a new ship (yay!) and was wondering if I could transfer the modules from my sidewinder (namely my shield and power generator) to my fancy new eagle. I thought I read that you could do this, but can't seem to figure how to do it in the interface.

You cannot do this yet.

You can store your current sidewinder, or sell it, but you'll need to equip your Eagle from scratch.

Ah, bummer! Oh well, at least the sidey will sell for a pretty penny. Thank you!

You also will need to come back to that station to swap back. I got it in my head that it would let me freely switch ships, so I was prepositioning them at different spots. That didn't work out so well for me.
