Newcomer / Intro Quick question re: SRV docking - can one dock on a wingmate's ship?

Yo folks - can't believe I've never thought of this question.

I have a friend who has started in ED. He has the base game and is waiting for Horizons - free in just a few days. :)
I want to take him to see the sights. He's a smart man; loves using his brain (he's a lawyer...jokes encouraged ;) ) so of course the Guardian ruins will tickle his puzzle interest.
BUT - I have found THIS video by Exegious:

The FUN bit is while I want to show my friend around, I've never seen most of these spots either - so we can go explore them together! 😁
And of course, while my friend has his starting Sidey (that'll change quick - I'll show him how to make fast money) I can back him up with Xeno's Paradox - just in case. ;)

Anyway, while watching the video I realized - we could have SO much fun landing on the top of Mount Neverest (Nervi 3A) and bombing down it to ground level.
The question is - can I pick him up with my Krait (with a 2-SRV bay installed) or would he have to recall his own ship? I do realize his own ship would be dismissed long before we got down, but it would be terribly fun to give him a lift 'back to his ship'. :)

This is the first time I've been able to introduce a friend to the game, and it's a total hoot.

Nope. SRVs just don't work that way. Best you can do is bring him along in multicrew and then you wouldn't be able to use the SRV.

I had a friend that took it upon himself to land his SRV on top of my python. I took off at such an angle that would allow his SRV to stay on top and not fall off. Not sure when but at the point of entering super cruise, he and his srv found themselves falling to the surface. Being a low gravity planet, it took almost 5 minutes to land on the surface. We also tried to get his srv into my ship but it didn't work.

As @NEMO LXXI states SRVs can be assisted up from the ground by friends in ships and there have been notable attempts to then fly those SRVs between planets and into stations once they have escaped the ground but sadly they can’t dock their SRV on someone else’s ship and unlike Ship Launched Fighters they aren’t equipped to be driven by telepresence.
