Jarl Jul 3, 2014 #1 I've heard that you can 'trade-in' a ship when you upgrade (other than the Sidey, that is). Is this true? Example: if I upgraded from my Eagle to a Hauler, would I get some or all of the value of the Eagle back, or would I be down 40k creds?

Iain M Norman Jul 3, 2014 #2 Aye only the hull, no equipment. Sell it! At least that's the word on the forums, not tested myself.
Alric A Jul 3, 2014 #3 Yes, you will get most, but not all of the value of your current ship back when you buy a new on. This is automatic. You will not get anything for upgraded weapons, systems, or cargo though. Sell these manually before you buy a new ship.
