Is there anyway to figure out if a station sells specific parts before you waste x amount of time to fly there, and dock?

reason im asking is im in the process of upgrading my Eagle, and I am looking for a Class 3, Grade A FSD housing, I saw it once at an OUTPOST no less. and have since forgot where it was. -.- I think this may be stopping me from going to far since after awhile the route lines go dotted, and prevents me from setting up further routes to my target destination (?) which is 150+ light years away.

There isn't

Your best bet is to check high tech systems with a large population. Industrial systems often have good outfitters too.

The dotted lines just mean that one tank of fuel won't get you there and you'll have to buy or fuel scoop more before that jump.

you can always stop and refuel and let the galaxy map calculate new routes...just takes half a min or so.
